We live in a world on fire with differing opinions. What do you look for in a search engine? If you’re intent on seeing all sides of an issue to make up your own mind, you’d better be VERY selective. Are you guided by your own inner compass and integrity? Or do you prefer a “sanitized” search that follows the government or MSM party line? I’m keenly interested in health. When I’m doing in-depth research, which search engine should I use?
I value my personal thoughts. I believe they are my own. The process by which I form conclusions is unique and complex. I also support YOUR independent thinking, even if it may completely disagree with mine. I need a search engine that shows me ALL sides of a question. I use a variety of search engines. I like to test them to see if they’re showing me the big picture. Some of them limit my searches, some even BLOCK me or PROMPT me as if they would create thoughts FOR me.
What are the qualities of a good search engine?
Well, it should be fast, efficient, easy to read. It should be uncensored, not influenced by politics or business. It should not collect my personal data or scan the files on my computer. It should be privately owned, not owned by a Fortune-500 company like Vanguard or BlackRock. It should not sell my search statistics. It should not create personalized ads for me based on my other searches, like I saw recently where Google offered me hotel accommodations in Bali! Ha Ha!
Recently I find that certain subjects are missing or “hidden” in Google. I notice subjective, opinion-based “science”, in which my searches for medical information are “prompted” or skewed by pharmaceutical interests. Yikes!
Imagine the power a search engine wields, with the ability to influence how people think, our opinions, politics, religion, and even “seed” new thought forms.
How do you control an information war? By controlling the information available—and Google has been doing that for a long time. Google, Facebook, Twitter, they all do this. Most people just don’t know what they’re missing in a free internet. Compare search engine results, and you’ll see a big difference. for example, Rumble knew the search results were manipulated and they sued Google in court. That’s because Google’s parent company, Alphabet, has become the #1 world leader in molding public opinion on everything from healthcare, to politics, to Artificial Intelligence and cloning.
Google is not going away, but I will not be using it.
I was surprised to learn that Google’s primary income, to the tune of $74 billion per year, comes from selling our Personal information, Our Search habits, Pharmaceuticals, Artificial Intelligence, and in selling Vaxxceenes. I was even more alarmed when I read this article indicating they are actively “thought-prompting” us. “Google’s Chain of Thought Prompting Can Boost Today’s Best Algorithms”, https://www.xanjero.com/news/search-engines-dominate-social-media-new-research-shows/
Yikes again! This indicates that AI is everywhere and actively creating our own thoughts, if we allow it. We users are astonishingly naïve to believe Google generously performs free searches for us, while their primary asset and income source is a database that tracks everything about us. This gives them enormous power to mold markets and influence the ways in which we think.
Google was originally founded as a search engine in 1998, and now has an 87% share of global searches. Google reorganized in 2015 to create a parent company, Alphabet, which holds Google as a subsidiary, along with other companies including Motorola Mobility, Robotics, Data analysis, Cloud data storage, Travel ratings, Intellectual property, Computer chip design, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and vackseens.
Google’s parent company, Alphabet, has two pharmaceutical companies. The first was Calico in 2013, run by Arthur Levinson, former CEO of Genentech. Calico is a Google-backed life-extension company searching for the eternal key to old age (life-extension with robotics). The second Google-founded pharmaceutical company is Verily Life Sciences, which released 20 million mosquitoes infected with a fertility-destroying bacteria into the heart of California.
Alphabet’s Calico and Verily Life Sciences are actively partnering with other drug companies, including GSK GlaxoSmithKline to create more pharmaceutical companies, as well as new classes of “bioelectronic medicines” that they hope will become blockbusters. Google recently formed a $715 million partnership with Galvani Bioelectronics, chaired by the same former GSK chairman of global vacksseene business that heads up Google’s pharmaceutical division.
Google’s Galvani Bioelectronics is developing ways to treat chronic illnesses by controlling electrical impulses in the body. Galvani Bioelectronics has absorbed all of GSK’s bioelectronics research and staff and will fund a broad range of collaborations with parent companies, academia, and other R&D firms. The vackseene, developed by Sanofi in partnership with GSK, is based on the recombinant protein-based technology for a flu vaks.
Hmmmm? Are we talking about an injection of bot-controlled DNA modified-cyborg chips connected to my cell-phone health app? No thanks.
I stopped using Google when they prompted my searches AWAY from the topic I wanted to find, TOWARD something they were selling. When this became clear, I left. What to do? Here I am sharing my favorite alternative search engines. If I missed yours, please let me know and offer your thoughts.
Beware that when you install Chrome, it comes with a “SOFTWARE REPORTER TOOL” which basically SCANS your computer drives, it scans through all your files, then as the name itself says, it reports back to Google what you have in your computer. Marvelous, isn’t it? A POS browser spying on me! Firefox basically declared that they will do the same. So, go BRAVE!
DuckDuckGo lost my vote of confidence when they caved in to Google pressure to censor articles relating to world politics. When this happened, and also a former employee emailed me that the owner of DuckDuckGo actually DOES sell its search statistics, then I lost confidence in its integrity. To make matters worse, DuckDuckGo already includes tremendous censorship because its primary algorithm is from Microsoft’s Bing, which is already skewed. DuckDuckGo is being promoted as the answer to cancerous Google Chrome – but it is not a solution to anything.
BEST SEARCH ENGINES for independent thinkers:
- YANDEX – https://yandex.com
- BRAVE – https://search.brave.com
- GIBIRU – https://gibiru.com
- SWISSCOWS – https://swisscows.com
- PRESEARCH – https://presearch.com
- ECOSIA – https://www.ecosia.org
As the fifth most popular search engine worldwide, Yandex is used extensively in its native Russia, where it holds around 60% of the search engine market share. It provides a very similar service to Google. You can search websites, images, videos, and news in a user-friendly layout. With additional features including mobile apps, maps, translation, cloud storage and more, Yandex offers just as much functionality but with a cleaner interface.
YANDEX is my favorite. Yes it gives a lot of Russian content but at least it doesnt filter out results on political basis. its also able to search torrents and other material (((google))) wont allow you to see.Yandex will present ALL views, unfiltered. So, be prepared to see stuff you don’t like or agree with. Most people are not mentally prepared to see the ‘real’ internet. thats why Google and others “sanitize” it for you.
If the YANDEX results do not match the GOOGLE results then GOOGLE is censored. I prefer to see all results and do my censorship in my head.
Brave has developed a search engine every bit as efficient as Google. More importantly, it is not censored according to any political or medical agenda, so I know I’m getting ALL available results. Brave Search, the company insists, respects people’s privacy by not tracking or profiling those using the service.
Brave search is based on “an open and collaborative system by which a community, or a single user, can create sets of rules and filters, called “Goggles”, to define the space from which a search engine can pull results,” they explain.
“Instead of a single ranking algorithm, we could have as many as needed, overcoming the biases that a single search engine embeds into the results.”
I encourage everyone to use BRAVE instead of Chrome or Firefox due to insanely fast experience, as all pages simply load 3 times faster than in other browsers, plus zero censorship and spying.
Gibiru is based on the model of uncensored data and is not tracked. Gibiru’s search algorithm is a modified version of Google’s search algorithm, so the search results are quite comparable. This eliminates behavioral search results and censoring. Encrypted, private, no data collection, IP address not collected, no cookies, no tracking.
Gibiru qualifies as a “private search engine.” This style of search tool has become much more popular in recent years as Google’s sins have accumulated and been made public. The idea behind most of them is to offer ways to search the web without giving away personal data (or at least giving us the chance to consent to any data usage).
Gibiru doesn’t sell any information to third parties. They aren’t in the data selling game. The Gibiru search engine bills itself as “uncensored anonymous search”. Why do these terms matter? When users search for terms using Gibiru search, the content of their searches is not logged or linked to an IP address. So, there’s no scope for profiling individual web users.
Gibiru couples their search engine with their own Virtual Private Network (VPN). This allows users to search completely anonymously, using IP addresses supplied by the VPN, not their own. This VPN can be installed as an add-on to browsers like Opera and Firefox easily, providing automatic in-browser protection.
When you submit a Gibiru search, you’ll see “all results” and “uncensored” options. The uncensored option lets you see all results that won’t appear in Google searches – and you may be surprised by how many pages are included. Great!
This anti-censorship tool extends to current news, giving users an unprecedented ability to search all up-to-date news sources – not just ones approved by Google. I like this!
Swisscows is the data-secure Google alternative. Swisscows is a search engine in which your privacy is protected. Swisscows does not monitor or store any data. A Swiss based search engine, it censors out only pornography.
Swisscows uses AI algorhythms, it does not track your data, and searches are not censored. Swisscows was launched in 2014, a project of Hulbee AG, a company based in Egnach, Switzerland. It uses semantic data recognition that give faster “answers” to queries. In addition, Swisscows does not store users’ data.
Swisscows also deems itself “family-friendly”, with pornography entirely omitted. Since advertising and user donations are the only sources of income, they offer a new service for supporters of Swisscows who wish to make full use of their services without ads, called Swisscows Prime. Presearch – A Better Search Engine For We The People.
Presearch is a decentralized search engine that provides search choice, quality results, privacy, and rewards to those who want to end the search monopoly and take back the web.
The Presearch Engine is a next-generation search engine built to provide the world with a decentralized alternative that operates more like a public utility on behalf of its community rather than shareholders.
The vision is to create totally open and transparent algorithms that leverage blockchain technology and the human power of the Presearch community so that, similar to Wikipedia, anyone can participate in the creation and curation of the search index, providing superior results and censorship-resistance.
Presearch offers its users increased search choice and active personalization, where they are in control of their experience, rather than automated personalization built upon a foundation of tracking and profiling users.
This is the search engine that plants trees. I wonder, does heavy search engine usage have an environmental impact on CO2 emissions? I don’t know, but this is the market niche of ECOSIA. For every search made, the revenue generated goes towards its tree-planting scheme. On average, roughly 45 searches are needed to make a single tree.
Ecosia is powered by Bing, so you will get similar first page results much like Bing by Microsoft Corporation.
Ecosia is your green and sustainable search engine alternative. Ecosia is also one of the most privacy-friendly alternative search engines. This means that Ecosia doesn’t create a personal profile of you based on your search history, but actually anonymizes all your searches within a spam protection period of 4 days. Moreover, Ecosia encrypts all searches to protect them from eavesdroppers, doesn’t use any external tracking tools, and doesn’t sell your data to advertisers. Contrast this with Google, who collects your search history and shares your personal data across many different embedded services in millions of third-party websites. Yikes!
