Two Yeshuas? Did Rome “Embellish” the Bible?

Christ Consciousness always wins. Two Jesus’s are better than one. Did the light of the world have two faces? Evidence suggests a SECOND JESUS lived at the same time. The Bible New Testament was written many hundreds of years after Jesus lived. Maybe the Vatican “filled in” life details of Yeshua, by adding the miracles of another holy man? Did Rome made a choice to deify Yeshua and conceal the great sage Apollonius of Tyana? We can ask: Why deify Yeshua, yet make no mention of Apollonius of Tyana, a famous teacher of the time? Is it possible that Vatican Bible authors added stories, miracles, and anecdotes from this other great teacher and consolidated them in Jesus Christ?

We deserve to know the whole TRUTH. Maybe it’s impossible after thousands of years and water under the bridge. Recognizing that the Bible, BOTH testaments to be filled with much TRUTH, could it be true that there were TWO JESUS’S? I invite you to read on with a child’s mind, like you’d listen to a story, and you will surely discern what is true for you. Let the light wash through our history so that we can find the TRUTH in the PRESENT MOMENT. Christ Consciousness always wins.

Yeshua never called himself Christ or Messiah. After his departure, his followers began to refer to him as the Christós, from the Greek word Χριστός meaning ‘anointed with sacred oil’. They believed that Jesus was the Messiah, the true Savior prophesied in the Old Testament.

“Love your neighbor as yourself.” – Jesus Christ

1. Christ Consciousness to Source Always Wins

There is much we don’t know. However we DO know some things. In the past 2,000 years, Christ Consciousness has evolved into a true philosophy connected to the Supreme Source, the Almighty God. We may not know all the details of all the founders’ lives. We can be confident in the Supreme Source and anything that carries us closer to perfect wisdom and goodness. Personally, I don’t care what name we choose for it. It can be Jesus, it can be Apollonius, Yeshua, or Krishna.

As I see it, our direct connection to Source is our single greatest gift, and it’s due to the vast virtue and goodness of humankind. It is perhaps not due to the wisdom and honesty of the Vatican. One Jesus or two, maybe it matters not. These men are guides. Like the Buddha, they are men who found the way to ascension and helped others. Our great challenge in the 21st century is to inspire deeper knowing of God and the Supreme Source in this multi-dimensional universe, as we uncover and rediscover the truth of our origin and history of humanity as brothers and sisters.

2. A Second Jesus?

While preparing the Bible New Testament in the 4th century, Vatican authorities knew of the great occult healer and magician, Apollonius of Tyana. Some say he was a wandering sage who spoke wise truth and deep inspiration. Although they lived at the exact same time in history, Apollonius was not not a follower of Christ. He came from a wealthy family, discoursed with kings and spiritual leaders. He had a large following, traveled the world, lived a long life, and was hailed as a saint after his death. He ended pestilence, healed the sick, and performed miracles to raise the dead. The life works of Apollonius were widely respected in intellectual and royal circles of Rome. Yet he was no friend of Roman governors. Is this why the Vatican chose to make him disappear from history?  A prolific writer, Apollonius was a private man who cared nothing for fame and fortune. Is Apollonius the Second Jesus? Link to his writings.

Here are a few quotes by Apollonius:

” To speak falsely is the mark of a slave, but the truth is noble.”

“You should try to be poor as an individual, but to be rich as a member of humanity.”

“I have seen men who inhabit the earth, yet do not live on it, who are protected on all sides though they have no means of defense, and who nevertheless possess only what all men possess.”

“The gods do not need sacrifices, so what might one do to please them? Acquire wisdom, it seems to me, and do all the good in one’s power to those humans who deserve it.”

“If anyone offers money to Apollonius, and he considers the donor to be worthy, he will accept it if he is in need. But for his philosophy he will take no reward, even though he may be in want.”

“Plato has said that true virtue recognises no master. And supposing anyone fails to honor this answer and delight therein, and instead of doing so sells himself for filthy financial gain, I say that he gives himself too many masters.”

“Some people ask why I have stopped giving lectures to large audiences. Let all know this: No discourse can be really useful, unless it be also delivered to a single individual. Anyone who discourses in any other manner is motived by vain glory to discourse.” Apollonius of Tyana

3. Who Was Apollonius of Tyana?

Apollonius of Tyana was born February 16, 2 AD in Tyana, Cappadoccia, Greece. He is said to be the original founder of the Essene branch of Christianity, that originate in Buddhist India and China. He was said to have been “replaced” by Jesus, known as Yeshai Beth Halachmee, in writings by the priests of Constantine at the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD. The New Testament may be a revised account of his life and teachings.

In a channeled meeting with Apollonius, he stated the following. See entire transcription at this link.

Channeled Words of Apollonius:

“Let our salutation be, the survival of truth and its conquest of Superstition. I was born, according to the Christian calendar, on the 16th day of February, A. D. 2, of wealthy parents; was educated, until my 26th year, in general philosophy and literature, when I served for six years under Euxenes, of Heracleia, learning the Pythagorean philosophy. After acquiring all I could learn from the teachings of that philosopher, I went to Antioch, and from there to Jerusalem.

On account of some wonderful physical manifestations of spirit power taking place through my then young mediumship, which persons living in Jerusalem had heard of, my entrance to that city was hailed, as it has been alleged the entrance of Jesus of  Nazareth was hailed, with hosannas and songs of praise to one who came in the name of the Lord.  …

Never, during my mortal life, did I desire to be worshipped after death – never did I, as a mortal man, teach such a doctrine. But I was deified after my death. Nine epistles were made a present to me by Phraotes of Taxila, India, or rather between Babylon and India, who was a satrap, in those days.

Those epistles contained all that is embraced in the present epistles claimed to have been written by St. Paul. And from what I have learned, as a spirit, I conclude that I am both the Jesus and St. Paul of the Christian scriptures. Flattering  enough to my vanity, but the ruin of my happiness. It is my duty, here, to confess all I can bring to recollection, in order that spiritual darkness may disperse and the light of truth shine in.

Now and here, I declare that the Christian Gospels were all preached by me – preached at Jerusalem – preached at  Ephesus – preached at Athens – preached at Philippi—preached at Home – preached at Antioch – preached at Alexandria – preached at Babylon. In all those countries I preached, and by manipulations, and certain qualities developed in me, I healed the sick, restored the sight of the blind, and, in the way herein set forth, even raised the dead.”

The more I hear about Apollonius, the more I love him!

Stories of Apollonius Abound:
Apollonius showed astonishing gifts for healing and clairvoyance, as well as interest in Hermetic knowledge. Although he came from great wealth, he did not use it. He let his hair grow, healed himself, abstained from animal flesh and wine, walked barefoot, wore only linen, giving up all clothes made of wool. He traveled widely, and learned secrets from holy men all over Asia. He had many powerful friends, and many enemies as he was very active in political circles, always upholding freedom, opposing tyrannical rulers.

Apollonius had no difficulty escaping Emperor Nero’s accusations. When he was brought before the tribunal that put him on trial, he somehow through his Hermetic art, caused his indictment document to be completely erased. When the scroll was unfurled in court, there was nothing on it.

Apollonius had a fascinating life, and was said to have lived to one hundred years, yet others claim he lived 130 years. Near the end of his life he was imprisoned by the evil Emperor Domitian in Rome, but unexplainably acquitted by the court. Maybe that’s because he disappeared in the courtroom before their very eyes. He simply vanished and was never seen again. Domitian was astonished by Apollonius’ inexplicable departure. Some say he died and was taken up to heaven. Others say he reappeared in another location and reunited with followers. Who knows? Stories abound. Suffice it to say, Roman authorities would probably NOT have chosen Apollonius to be the “God” of their new religion after his stinging criticism and mysterious legal anomalies.

4. Why Did Emperor Constantine Create Christianity?

In the 4th century, Roman Emperor Constantine faced uncountable challenges. He waged wars on all sides, and struggled with countless religious differences across the vast Empire. Even worse, he endured brutal disputes over his legal title to the throne. Constantine’s main problem was the uncontrollable disorder among church elders and their diverse worship of numerous gods. Finally, he united all diverse religious groups under a new composite “deity”. He ordered the compilation of new and old sacred writings from all over the world into a uniform collection that became the New Testament.

As a political strategy, Emperor Constantine sought to unite his empire by creating a coalition of Christian factions with local Sun worship and Mithraic secret societies. Pagans could keep their traditional celebration dates while the Christians got to keep their names and idols. So, Paganism and Mithraism got dressed up in new Christian clothing. It was a compromise by all parties that allowed Constantine to expand his empire and secure the throne as emperor, with himself as the undisputed sacred dynastic ruler.

The New Testament was assembled over a period of several centuries from thousands of documents in countless languages, gathered by Constantine and his assistants. He collected all the great sacred scriptures of the time at the Council of Nicaea, and it seems he may have confiscated them all. Some ancient texts came from as far away as the Indian Mahabharata. Thus, many of the stories in the New Testament, as new evidence is revealed, are composites of other great books of the time, and do not necessarily represent historical realities. Many of them were written long after the 4th century Council of Nicaea. The church does not deny this.

5. Rome Persecuted Christians, then Rewrote Christianity

After Jesus’ death, Christians were severely persecuted in Rome and ridiculed as “atheists” because they believed in an invisible God. Roman law allowed Christians and criminals to be “thrown to the lions”. This punishment was called damnatio ad bestias, used as public entertainment. It served to “test” the faith of Christians and belittle their “God” if they succumbed to lions. Christians were also beaten, crucified, or even beheaded. For example, the apostle St. Paul was supposedly beheaded in Rome in 67 CE. Later on, the apostle St. Peter was hoisted upside down on a cross and crucified at the present-day Vatican site.

Christians endured 300 years of persecution. At that time there were no Christian churches and little evidence of Jesus’s life – just a few poor and fervent believers in Christ. Emperor Constantine had a vision that the cross would help him in battle, and created a plan to resolve political and religious disputes. Constantine asked his mother Helena to supervise a journey to Jerusalem to search out sacred Christian relics to bless the new Roman basilica. Helena traveled to the holy land 300 years after Jesus’ death. However, she returned with precious little. She found just a few fragments said to be the crucifixion cross, nails, a holy tunic, and rope pieces.

Constantine needed a new God, a new personality around which he could create a powerful institution. He knew he couldn’t build a new religion with fragments of a cross, nails, a tunic, and a few scraps of rope. What to do?

6. How Did Constantine Create a New Religion?

Christianity is unlike any other world religions because it is a “created” institution. Imagine the challenge of creating an entirely new faith from scratch based on a saint that had lived some 350 years ago! Jesus spoke, but he did not write. His followers remembered his words, and a few of them were written down. To create a new religion you need religious writings, but where to find them?

The Bible Old Testament had existed for centuries before Christ, and was accepted as Hebrew sacred history. The Old Testament roots came from many Mesopotamian sources from Sumeria to Babylon. Early versions of the Old Testament were in Hebrew, and much later Greek. The earliest and most reliable translation of the Old Testament from Hebrew is considered the Septuagint. This famous translation dates from around the 3rd to 2nd century BCE, well before the Council of Nicaea and any Roman adoption of Christianity.

The Roman Catholic church relied on the Septuagint to translate the First Testament into Latin, called Vulgate, meaning “common Latin language”. However, there were some notable books omitted in the Vulgate, such as the Apocrypha texts about the life of Jesus, the Gnostic Bible, the Nag Hammadi manuscripts and many others. These texts were called “noncanonical” and were abandoned, hidden. or destroyed.

7. Constantine and the Council of Nicaea, 325 CE: a Black Hole of Vatican History

At the Council of Nicaea, the historic record of Christianity slips into one of the biggest black holes in history. There’s a reason why the Bible New Testament didn’t exist until the fourth century: That’s because most of it was not written until later. Here we see evidence of perhaps one of the the greatest misrepresentations of all time. The New Testament was a brand new invention, and was written with precious little real information about Jesus Christ.

In Constantine’s time Christianity as a religion did not exist, except for a few renegade believers. The Church has admitted that the tale of the Enperor’s “conversion” and “deathbed baptism” are “entirely legendary”. Perhaps Constantine saw in this confused mayhem of fragmented dogmas an opportunity to create a completely new and state religion, a coalition of beliefs, and to protect it by law. He began by issuing a decree inviting and commanding all church elders and their subordinates “be mounted on asses, mules and horses belonging to the public, and travel to the city of Nicaea”, which is in today’s Turkey near Constantinople. They were instructed to bring with them the testimonies they taught, “bound in leather” for protection during the long journey, and to surrender them to Constantine upon arrival in Nicaea. Their writings totaled, “in all, two thousand two hundred and thirty-one scrolls and legendary tales of gods and saviors, together with a record of the doctrines orated by them”.

8. Council of Nicaea Chooses a New God and Creates a New Religion: 325 AD

The first ecclesiastical gathering provides a picture of early clerical thinking and intellectual climate at the time. At this gathering, Christianity was birthed, and the ramifications of the decisions made are impossible to measure.

Groups of church elders from numerous religious sects were present, each with differing doctrines. The clerics compared and debated over the qualities of their various gods. “Altar was set against altar” to compete for the allegiance of all believers in the Roman Empire.

A total of 318 “bishops, priests, deacons, subdeacons, acolytes and exorcists” gathered to debate and decide upon a belief system that encompassed a single God. The huge assortment of “wild texts” circulated among them supported many Eastern and Western Gods and Goddesses. The lineup of deities consisted of Roman, Greek, Egyptian, Indian Gods including: Jove, Jupiter, Salenus, Baal, Thor, Gade, Apollo, Juno, Aries, Taurus, Minerva, Rhets, Mithra, Isis, Ra, El, Krishna, Horus, Yahweh, Cybele, Theo, Isis, Fragapatti, Atys, Durga, Indra, Neptune, Vulcan, Kriste, Agni, Croesus, Pelides, Huit, Hermes, Thulis, Thammus, Eguptus, Iao, Aph, Saturn, Gitchens, Minos, Maximo, Hecla, and Phernes.

Before the Council of Nicaea, Roman aristocracy had primarily worshipped two Gods – Apollo and Zeus. Many Roman soldiers followed the cult of Mithra. Common people often idolized either Mithras a Sun God, or Julius Caesar, who had been deified as “Savior” after his death.

The Council Had to Decide: What is the Name of the New God?
Constantine asked the Council of Nicaea to choose a name for the one God to unite all religious factions in his empire. He invited them to debate and decide who their new God would be. Delegates argued among themselves, and the names of 53 Gods were mentioned in discussion. Months passed, however after seventeen months they still could not decide. Eventually with some prodding from Constantine, it is said they voted it down to a short list of six contestants:

  1. Caesar
  2. Krishna
  3. Mithra
  4. Horus
  5. Zeus
  6. Hesus

We are told they finally settled on the great Druid God, Hesus, in combination with the name Krishna, the Sanskrit Christ and Greek Christos meaning “the anointed one”. Thus, the official name of the new Roman god was finally agreed to be Hesus Krishna.

Finally, all agreed with a majority show of hands (161 votes to 157) that both divinities were to become one single God. Following longstanding Roman custom, Constantine used the official gathering and the regal apotheosis power decree to legally deify two gods as one, with democratic consent. This political act of deification effectively and legally placed Hesus Krishna among the Roman gods as a single individual composite. But since there was no letter “J” in alphabets until around 800 CE, the name evolved into “Jesus Christ” much later.

9. How Were New Testament Gospels Assembled?

Constantine then instructed his assistant Eusebius to organize the collection of new writings submitted at the council. His instructions were: “Search ye these books, and whatever is good in them, that retain; but whatsoever is evil, that cast away. What is good in one book, unite ye with that which is good in another book. And whatsoever is thus brought together shall be called The Book of Books. And it shall be the doctrine of my people, which I will recommend unto all nations, that there shall be no more war for religions’ sake.”

Constantine believed that the amalgamated collection of myths would unite various opposing religious factions under one creed. Merging the supernatural “god” stories of Mithra and Krishna with British Culdean beliefs effectively joined the Council of Eastern and Western leaders. Eusebius then arranged scribes to produce, “fifty sumptuous copies … to be written on parchment in a legible manner, and in a convenient portable form”

These were to be the “New Testimonies”. He then ordered earlier manuscripts and the records of the council “burnt” and declared that “any man found concealing writings should be beheaded.”

Constantine died in 337 with the satisfaction of knowing that his merging of many pagan beliefs into a new religion brought many converts. Historical records reveal it was practical self-interest that led him to create Christianity. However, it wasn’t called “Christianity” until the 15th century

10. Did Apollonius of Tyana Inspire the New Testament?

Could the New Testament describe a different Jesus called Apollonius? A recent discovery of the complete ancient Sinai Bible, said to be the original New Testament, reveals a staggering 14,800 editorial changes in the published New Testament. It provides surprising evidence that refutes many published chapters, including the resurrection of Jesus Christ. For example, modern-day versions of the Gospel of Luke have a staggering 10,000 more words than the same Gospel in the Sinai Bible. However, these inconsistencies have been refuted and debunked by the highest Vatican authority.

The Encyclopedia Biblica suggests that around 1,200 years of Christian history are virtually unknown: “Unfortunately, only few of the records prior to the year 1198 have been released”. Why is that? Maybe that’s because Pope Innocent III (1198-1216) suppressed all records of earlier Church history by establishing the Secret Archives. “Church history will be now be established … we shall seek to print our own account”

“It thus appears that the present titles of the Gospels are not traceable to the evangelists themselves … They are supplied with titles which, however ancient, do not go back to the respective authors of those writings.” – Catholic Encyclopedia

Oh dear, this indicates that there may be no genuine apostolic Gospels, and that the Church has taken vast liberties to invent the very foundations of Christian faith. That’s a powerful statement! This would suggest that the New Testament may not be divine in origin, and therefore the Christian texts without sacred authority. For centuries, fabricated Gospels bore Church certification of authenticity. So, they are now confessed to be invented? Perhaps that is why Vatican Pope Leo X (d. 1521) called Christ a “fable”. Oh dear! What can we believe?

The first Roman Bible was called the “Vulgate” meaning “common” or “colloquial”, translated into everyday Latin from Hebrew and Greek. Later they added “Glossa” commentaries on the pages, which were considered one of the great intellectual achievements of the 12th century, every book copied by hand.

In 392 CE Emperor Theodosius declared Christianity the official and sole religion of the Roman Empire. Pagan temples were converted or destroyed. Mithraism, Sun worship and all other religions were prohibited on penalty of confiscation of property, torture, slavery, or death. The ancient library of Alexandria, Egypt was destroyed and heretic books burned.

In Roman areas, all temples to the Pagan gods became Catholic churches. Rebirth and reincarnation were removed from the Christian teachings. Astrology was removed from the schools and ridiculed as heretical. Cosmic knowledge was officially reserved for secret societies and the Emperor.

After the Rome fell in the 6th century CE, the empire was transformed into the global Vatican church, eventually infusing every part of our lives in the West, and also the colonies. While the Bible is a sacred document and it is very real, we must also acknowledge that the scriptures may have been carefully edited for purposes of consistency and control. There have been some translation changes and many original scriptures omitted. Christianity and the New Testament were created essentially as an entirely new religion,  assembling all the elements from existing folk traditions and other religions.

Constantine’s vision of a cross in the sky on the eve of a 4th-century battle, by 15th-century artist Raffaello. Constantine saw the words: “In this sign thou shalt conquer,” a prophecy that proved true the next day when he was victorious.

11. Vast Web of Lies and Exaggerations

We can’t expect to find the truth in history. Far beyond the range of this article, the web of lies and deceit is impossible to unravel. I’ll be on the high road. However, I invite you to continue carrying the flag to reveal Truth and debunk lies. If this is your path, here are a few gems to whet your appetite.

What was the origin of the crucifixion statue that adorns every Christian church?
It seems the crucifix of Jesus Christ as a badge of Christianity came into use much later, long after the Councils of Nicaea. Before the 7th century CE, early versions of the cross show a lamb crucified on it. But the rule was changed, and later a man was nailed to the cross. Some say they added the head of Apollonius of Tyana on it because he was very handsome.

Mysterious initiation ceremonies were said to include the crucifixion of the candidate on a cross. Legend holds that Apollonius of Tyana was initiated into the ancient knowledge of Egypt inside the Great Pyramid, where he hung upon a cross until unconscious and was then laid in a tomb for three days. While his body was unconscious, his soul was thought to pass into the realms of the immortals, where he vanquished death by recognizing that life is eternal. He returned again to the body, rose from the coffer, and was hailed as a brother by the priests. It sounds vaguely familiar.

Virgin birth is a cornerstone of Christianity.
Could it be a simple mistranslation from Hebrew, substituting “Almah” meaning “Young woman of childbearing age” with the Greek word “Parthenos” meaning “Virgin”. The original Hebrew Bible used the term “young woman”, not “virgin”. The Vatican knew about it, but did nothing to correct it, preferring the miracle of “virgin birth”. Some claim that immaculate conception can occur, as the union of a human female with an elemental being, like a fairy or a God. Offsprings of such unions were said to be Apollonius of Tyana and Merlin the Magician

Oh dear, nothing we were told about history is true. Many sources show how the Vatican allowed hundreds of mistruths in the Bible, and purposefully destroyed whole libraries to cover their tracks. You’ll find many more startling revelations in Resources below and especially the book “Antiquity Unveiled” by Jonathan M. Roberts. Of course, I can’t confirm any of this.
