What is Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy?
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) is a gentle and profound way to optimize health. By connecting to the energetic vibrations that underlie our physical systems, it can support the fundamental life force of the body, to bring about healing naturally and non-invasively. BCST listens to the Breath of Life, summoning the innate intelligence of the organism to pinpoint areas of restriction and resolve them. Jane’s Biodynamic Craniosacral practice is in the lineage of Osteopath Dr. William Sutherland, Dr. Franklyn Sills, Dr. Rollin Becker, and Scott Zamurut of the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Association.
How Does Craniosacral Therapy Work?
Craniosacral therapy uses light, gentle touch. As Jane listens to your body she may touch your head, the base of your spine, or another point that is connected to a pattern. You’ll be fully clothed, and most people find a session very relaxing. The treatment focus is to quietly support the deepest reservoirs of total health and vital force in your system, especially the cranium, nervous system, connective tissue, and cerebro-spinal fluid. These are some of the systems that that sustain healthy communication, connecting all the functions of the body, both autonomic and conscious.
By observing the minute changes in the fluids, nervous system, and connective tissue, one can highlight parts of the system that are not functioning optimally and dissolve patterns of restriction. Jane’s sensitive perception skills, her awareness of the body’s energy map, and her knowledge of anatomy make it possible for her to assist your body to bring itself back into balance. This supports elimination of pain, greater mobility, reduction of stress, and permanently alleviating your symptoms.
