“The day after my Chinese medicine treatment with Sri Jana, my body ached. I felt flu and cold symptoms, sort of like a physical-emotional meltdown. But the following day it released completely. I felt clearer and lighter than I have felt in a long time. Whatever that was, I’m happy to be rid of it. Thank you, Sri Jana!” Annie
What is Chinese Medicine?
In modern times, we tend to think of the body as a collection of distinct parts to be addressed individually. However ancient Chinese wisdom had a very different view of health. For over 5,000 years, Daoist masters have held that human existence is intimately connected with the universe, the Earth, and the heavenly bodies. They saw human health as an integrated, balanced system in which all the component parts are related.
Chinese medicine observes that illness is caused by imbalances. These can be energetic deficiencies or excesses (too little or too much of something). The role of a medical practitioner is to help restore harmony to the body, mind, and spirit. A good practitioner can detect imbalances far in advance of a “diagnosis” as we call it. It is not necessary to wait to make corrections until a pattern becomes so serious that we are chronically ill. An integrated approach to healing maintains balance and wellness throughout life.
“Sri Jana’s knowledge of Chinese Medicine is wide, deep, and astonishing. She is a scholar in her own right, and brings that understanding, as well as her own personal practice, to her healing work.” Daven
Sri Jana’s Chinese medicine practice uses the core concepts of Yin, Yang, the five elements, and the organs to find the nature of any imbalance. She reads the meridians and their relationships using kinesiology, or applied muscle testing, to discover which systems are affected, and how they are connected to the rest of the body. She uses specific tapping and Qigong to realign meridians without the use of needles.
Sri Jana is a recognized practitioner of Accunect, a healing system based on ancient Chinese Medicine developed by Dr. Ka’imi Pilipovich, DOM, Doctor of Oriental Medicine. This practice is closely related to Energy Medicine, and in addition it uses specific acupuncture points and Chinese medicine concepts.
Sri Jana’s Chinese medicine sessions do not use needles. Instead, the rebalancing is effected by addressing internal or external points on the meridian energetically, and specific tapping. Qigong movements can also be used to rebalance.
There are great advantages to an energetic approach to Chinese medicine. Most importantly, it can treat illness before it manifests. It can restore balance in the body without pharmaceuticals, without invasion, and without needles. It can be done remotely if the patient is not in the area.
